AP Top 25: #2 LSU Tigers Overcome Slow Start, Use Second Half to Stave Off Tulane Green Wave

For at the first half of Saturday’s game the #2 LSU Tigers looked as if they had their eyes set on next week’s game against the #4 Florida Gators and the Tulane Green Wave made them pay. Boston Red Sox Take AL East Title with Win Over Minnesota Twins

Daisuke Matsuzaka pitched eight strong innings, allowing just six hits and two runs while David Ortiz finished 3-4 including his 35th home run of the year as the Boston Red Sox beat the Minnesota Twins 5-2 on Friday night.
